Registration for German courses

When registering for German courses, the following personal data is collected:

  • Information about highest school qualification
  • Information about voucher

Contact via email

When contacting us via email, your email address and the message you send, including the information contained therein, will be processed and stored.

Access data and log files

When you connect to the web server, the hosting provider (Xelon AG, Zug) logs and stores technical data on its server in Switzerland. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser, and the browser request, including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make the website available to you. The data is protected against unauthorized access by technical and organizational measures and can only be viewed by the website developer (Mesch Web Consulting & Design GmbH, Luzern).

Cookies

The website uses cookies. Cookies are text files or other storage technologies that are automatically stored on your computer by your web browser. They serve to make the website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Some of the cookies used are automatically deleted after visiting the website (session cookies). Matomo

We use the open source solution Matomo (InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand) for statistical analysis of website visits. The data is collected anonymously; it is not possible to draw conclusions about identifiable individuals.

Google Maps

Google Maps is used on the website to display the location when the website is accessed. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland, headquartered at Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By integrating Google Maps, information about usage, such as IP addresses, technical information such as browser, operating system, or screen resolution, and interactions with the map may be communicated to Google. The IP address is anonymized by Google Maps. If you are logged in with your Google account, the data is synchronized between devices. The collected data may be transferred to the USA. Duration of storage

The data will only be processed and stored for as long as is necessary for the purposes pursued by the processing or for the fulfilment of any contractual and legal obligations. A longer storage period is based on the applicable legal storage obligations.

Recipients of personal data

The contact details collected when registering for German courses are passed on to the respective course provider. The website developer (Mesch Web Consulting & Design GmbH, Luzern) has access to the access data and log files to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, data may be shared with Google as described above (see Google Maps).
